The Hall County Republican Party will host a forum Tuesday for the candidates in the three contested Hall County Commission elections.
The evening will begin with a "meet and greet" at 6:00. The forum will follow at 6:30.
Candidates who have been invited to participate are Steve Gailey and Richard Higgins, who are running for the chairmanship, a post being vacated by Dick Mecum; Eugene Moon and incumbent Billy Powell (District 2); and, Troy Phillips and incumbent Jeff Stowe (District 4). All are running in the May 24 Republican Primary.
The moderators will be WDUN's Joel Williams and Hall County State Court Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard.
The forum will be held at party headquarters on Queen City Parkway.
