ATHENS — Flowery Branch used a nine-run fourth inning en route to a 20-2 victory over Cedar Shoals in five innings Monday in Region 8-AAAAA play.
The Falcons (6-12-1, 4-9 Region 8-AAAAA) snapped a four-game losing streak with the win. They had 12 different players record a hit in the rout of the winless Jaguars (0-13, 0-17).
Jackson Harrell got the win for Flowery Branch.
The two teams will play again on Wednesday at the Hog Mountain Spors Complex.
