CLEVELAND — Chestatee snapped a two-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over White County Wednesday in Region 8-AAAA action.
Braxton Nicholson got the win for the War Eagles (6-10, 3-4 Region 8-AAAA) scattering seven hits, striking out three, and working out of several jams to strand nine. White County baserunners.
Cameron Wilson and Jonathan Yearwood scored the two Chestatee runs. Wilson, Joe Sutton, Mikey Petraroi, Reggie James, and Will Cantrell each had hits for the War Eagles.
Chestatee will play host to White County (4-12, 1-8) on Friday.
