OAKWOOD — Lakeview Academy matched its win total from all of last season Monday with a 12-1 rout of Johnson in five innings.
The Lions (3-3) got a complete-game effort from Rob Hamby, who scattered four hits and fanned seven.
JD Roark had a double, three RBI, and scored two runs to lead the offense. Logan Barwick had a hit and two RBI and Peyton Solinsky scored two runs for Lakeview.
The Lions next will travel to St.Francis on Tuesday.
Johnson (1-9) will travel to Monroe Area on Friday in its Region 8-AAAA opener..
