Volunteers from the Phi Sigma Pi Regional Conference South spent part of their weekend in Gainesville to complete the group's service project.
The Georgia Mountain Food Bank hosted more than 80 of the honor society members Saturday.
They helped prepare items for the food bank's mobile pantry, packed and labeledcommunity emergency food boxes, painted bowls for the Empty Bowl Luncheon, and sorted, inspected and boxed food.
The conference was being held in Dahlonega.
