GAINESVILLE — West Hall won for the second time in as many tries with an 8-3 victory over Chestatee Friday at War Eagles Field.
Charlie Cochran pitched five innings strikning out six and allowed two runs in getting the win for the Spartans (2-0).
Trey Horton had two hits and two RBI and Carter Lott belted a home run to lead the West Hall offense. Elijah Butler had a hit and two RBI for the Spartans.
Brian Newman had two hits and one RBI and Josh Anderson had one hit for West Hall.
