The University of North Georgia's (UNG) Division of Professional and Continuing Education was recently named as a Top 25 school for the fourth consecutive month for its enrollment in Ed2Go online courses.

Ed2Go is the industry leader in online learning for adults that provides online continuing education courses through a network of more than 2,100 colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Each course lasts six weeks with many approved for teacher continuing education.

"We are excited that our enrollment numbers continue to rise for these online courses," said Dr. Wendy Estes, director of UNG's Division of Professional and Continuing Education. "These courses are a perfect fit for those adult learners who don't have the time or means to commute to a physical location."

UNG's continuing education enrollment online saw a 49 percent increase in 2015.

The most popular UNG courses offered online include: A to Z Grant Writing, Project Management Fundamentals, Project Management Applications, Medical Coding, Introduction to Business Analysis, and Administrative Assistant Fundamentals.

"What is really exciting is that 97 percent of the students taking an online course from UNG said that they would take another class, with 22 percent saying that they would consider enrolling in a more advanced follow-up course on campus," Estes said. "I'm proud of UNG's leadership role in advancing the educational needs of northeast Georgia."
