FLOWERY BRANCH — North Hall pounded out 11 hits, including three each from Austin Adams and Dylan Lavender, in taking a 7-3 win over Flowery Branch in both teams' season openers Wednesday.
Drew Atha pitched four innings allowing three runs in earning the win. Lavender closed out the game with thtree scoreless innings in relief for the Trojans (1-0).
Atha added two hits and one RBI and Lavender had two RBI to go with his three hits. Reese Olson added a hit and an RBI for North Hall. Fowler Brooks and Jackson Latty also had hits for the Trojans.
Nick Langford took the loss for Flowery Branch (0-1). Cam Holmes and Kohlton Hamann each had two hits for the Falcons.
