CUMMING — The Chestatee girls remained unbeaten after taking a 40 -29 non-region victory over Forsyth Central Saturday.
The Lady War Eagles (12-0, 1-0 Region 7-AAAA) held Forsyth Central to single-digit scoring in every quarter. They led 10-6 after the first quarter and blew the game open with a 19-8 second quarter to take a 29-14 halftime lead.
Chestatee extended its lead to 39-20 heading into the fourth quarter.
Lindsey Caudell paced Chestatee with 15 points. Maggie McNair added nine points and Dawndria Bell eight points for the Lady War Eagles.
