The public safety monument in Roosevelt Square in downtown Gainesville will be dedicated Thursday.
That's according to a notice from the Hall County Board of Commissioners.
The Community Public Safety Monument Tribute has been under construction for several months near the Eternal Flame. The monument was lowered into place in October. Plans for the tribute were announced two years ago.
The ceremony will begin at 1:30.
