Meredith Mellard and Victoria Schillinger were named to the Appalachian Athletic Conference Second Team as announced by the league office Wednesday night.
Mellard and Schillinger, both seniors, held down a back line that allowed just four shots on goal per game this season. Mellard, from Lawrenceville, Georgia, recorded two goals on the season, while Schillinger, from Dacula, Georgia, has played in every game in the middle of the back line.
