UPDATE: One person displaced after early-morning house fire in Flowery Branch

By B.J. Williams
One person escaped a burning house on Capitola Farm Road in Flowery Branch early Tuesday morning.

When Hall County firefighters arrived around 5:25 a.m., they found the  1,000 square-foot house fully involved in fire.

Hall County Fire Capt. Zachary Brackett said investigators determined a wood heater sparked the fire. The home was valued at $50,000 and was determined to be a total loss.

The American Red Cross will assist the resident of the house with shelter and clothing.
