EVANS — Six University of North Georgia student-athletes were selected to the Peach Belt Conference All-Conference soccer teams the league announced at the PBC Soccer Banquet. Five players were honored from the 17-th-ranked women's team while the men had one representative on the squad. Rachel VanHorn brought home the only major award of the night snagging the Select Sport Golden Ball Award for most goals scored in the conference this season.
Forward Rachel VanHorn, midfielder Sophia Matonak, and defenders Jessica Allen, and Megan Gil were all named to the First Team for the women, while Jacy Ramey was selected to the Second Team.
On the men's side, Ivan Acimovic was the lone Nighthawk to be honored by the league despite UNG finishing second in the conference for the first time in school history.
