West Hall won the Region 7AAAA One Act Play Competition and now advances to compete for the 2016 GHSA AAAA One Act State Championship. In addition, Best Actor at the event went to West Hall's Ricky Garcia and Best Actress to Katie Ivey of Chestatee High School.
The State AAAA One Act Championships will take place on November 5 at Northside High School in Warner Robbins.
West Hall won for its production of The Boys Next Door.
2nd place – Pippin by Chestatee High School
3rd place – Marist’s Little Shop of Horrors
4th place – A Year with Frog and Toad performed by White County High
Best Actor – Ricky Garcia - West Hall High. (In addition, West Hall’s Raymond Stonkus and Rennan Guerra were named to the Region All-Star Cast.)
Best Actress – Katie Ivey, Pippin by Chestatee High​
