CLEVELAND — The Truett McConnell women's soccer team conceded a goal early but scored the final two goals of the match on its way to a 2-1 win over Bryan College Tuesday afternoon at the TMU Soccer Complex.

Bryan scored in the seventh minute of play to take an early 1-0 lead, but the Bears quickly got the game tied up with a Quiara Gebauer goal in the 27th minute of play.

The Bears came out of halftime firing on all cylinders as Gebauer found Jasmin Lanuza at the top of the box and Lanuza fired it home to bring the match to its final score.

TMU held Bryan to just four shots in the final half of play.

The Bears will have a quick turnaround as they will take on Columbia College on Thursday in a weather make-up game originally scheduled for last Wednesday. Kickoff will be at 3 p.m.
