HOSCHTON — Mill Creek looked like the No. 1 team in Class AAAAAAA on Friday while playing a one-win program in Discovery.

The Hawks dominated from start to finish in a 62-0 win in Hoschton.

Mill Creek put up 337 total yards, but its defense allowed a paltry 3 total yards and also racked up a school record three safeties in one game.

The Hawks did more than enough damage in the first quarter, notching a 25-0 lead, as Edmonnd Graham and Anthony Presto scored rushing touchdowns and Cameron Turley hooked up with Ace Williams for a 19-yard scoring strike. Two safeties in the period set the tone for the game.

Joe Thomas and Cole Wroble also scored rushing touchdowns, while Uriah Leverette scored twice and finished with a game-high 39 yards on 19 carries, as the Hawks (7-0, 3-0 Region 6-AAAAAAA) rushed for 252 yards as a team.

Ayoola Ogun-Semore also scored on a fumble return for the Hawks.

Mill Creek plays host to Peachtree Ridge in a key region contest next week.
