BUFORD — Buford football made short work of Johnson on Friday night, rolling to a 48-0 victory in Buford.
The Wolves (5-1, 2-0 Region 8-AAAAA) put up 418 yards of offense, while holding the Knights (0-7, 0-3) to 150 total yards.
Buford scored 28 first quarter points, including three touchdown runs for Christian Turner and one for Anthony Grant. Turner carried just six times for 154 yards. Grant also had just two carries for 57 yards. Derrian Brown also carried five times for 81 yards and scored on a 28-yard run in the second quarter.
AJ Wansley added a 13-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, while Grant Breyo caught a 78-yard touchdown pass from Will Westmoreland in the fourth quarter.
Buford will travel to face Cedar Shoals next week.
Johnson will play host to Clarke Central next week.
