TIGER — Rabun County football keeps on rolling.
The Wildcats hammered Banks County 46-3 in their Region 8-AA opener, running out to a 33-0 first half lead.
Rabun County shut down the Leopards rushing attack, throwing the visitors for minus-19 yards on the ground and allowing just 120 yards overall.
The Wildcats (4-0, 1-0 Region 8-AA) rolled up 352 yards total offense, balancing that between 189 yards rushing and 163 yards rushing.
Cal Drummond rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns, while Bailey Fisher completed 14 of 24 passes for 169 yards and a score, while also rushing for 38 yards and two scores. Braxton Hicks caught two touchdown passes.
Banks County quarterback Griffin Goodwin completed 13 of 28 passes for 139 yards.
Rabun County travels to face Putnam County next week.
Banks County will take a bye next week before playing host to Oglethorpe County on Oct. 14.
