(VIDEO) Wrestling: Buford, North Hall place 11 in Sectionals in 8-AAAA traditionals

GAINESVILLE — Both Buford and North Hall pushed through 11 wrestlers to next week’s Class AAAA Sectionals Saturday at the Area 8-AAAA Traditional tournament at the Chestatee gym.

Buford won the team title with 243 points, nipping the Trojans, who had 230 points. The Wolves had six individual champions while North Hall had four champions on the day.

Chestatee, who finished third with 162 points, had seven move through the Sectionals.

The top four wrestlers in each weight class move on to the Sectionals. Areas 3, 4, 6, and 8 will meet in West Laurens. Areas 1, 2, 5, and 7 will tangle in Gilmer next weekend.
