GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Gainesville wrestling team finished second in the Area 7-5A dual tournament on Monday at Davis-Hill Gym.
After rolling past Lanier in the first and Milton (47-30) in the semifinals, the Red Elephants fell to Seckinger, 41-40, in the championship match to place second.
The second-place finish earned Big Red a spot in the GHSA State Duals Tournament this weekend.
