Police in Gwinnett County have released the identity of the victim of a Buford homicide victim.
Karen Higgins, 53, was found by a concerned family member Tuesday at her home on Anthony Drive.
Her body was sent to the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy, according to an email from Gwinnett Police Cpl. Michele Pihera.
No cause of death has been determined, and no suspects have been identified.
The woman's disabled husband was taken to the hospital when the initial call came to police.
