Gwinnett Police are investigating a homicide at a Buford residence after the body of a woman was found by a family member.
Police received the call around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday from a male family member of the victim, who is in her "mid 50s" according to Cpl. Michele Pihera.
The family member had not heard from the victim, whose identity hasn't been released, recently.
When the family member arrived at the home on Anthony Drive, he found the victim's disabled husband, who was taken to the hospital due to a medical condition.
He then located the woman's body.
Officers have obtained a search warrant for the residence, though the haven't identified any suspects at this time.
