DAHLONEGA — The University of North Georgia athletic department has announced that women's soccer player Jacy Ramey has been voted the UNG Campus Cash Nighthawk of the Week for Sept. 14. The weekly honor is sponsored by UNG Card Services.
Ramey scored a pair of goals in the No. 11 Nighthawks' 3-0 win over Queens on Sunday, upping her season count to three tallies.
The junior forward, a Flowery Branch High graduate, headed home a corner from Mollie Arrendale in the 17th minute for the eventual game-winner. She found the back of the net again five minutes into the second half when she cleaned up a deflected shot off the Royals' goalie.
