GAINESVILLE - Westminster Church will present a Fall Gospel Renewal Conference featuring Scotty Smith Friday–Sunday, September 25–27, at Westminster Church. The conference is open to the public.
Scotty Smith, teacher and writer for Gospel Coalition, will be speaking on his book Objects of His Affection at Westminster Church. Smith is the founding pastor of Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tenn. He is an adjunct professor at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Fla. and is the author of multiple books, including Objects of His Affection, Unveiled Hope and Restoring Broken Things (with Stephen Curtis Chapman).
The weekend’s schedule will include a Friday night service in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m. Childcare will be available for infants and toddlers by registering with [email protected] by September 21. On Saturday, Smith will speak at the Men’s Breakfast beginning at 8:30 am. The cost for the breakfast is $5.00. He will deliver the message during Sunday’s worship service at 11:00 a.m.
