Developed more than 100 years ago by American universities and secondary schools. the accreditation is a voluntary method of quality assurance designed primarily to distinguish schools adhering to a set of educational standards. Today the accreditation process is used at all levels of education and is recognized for its ability to effectively drive student performance and continuous improvement in education.
The visiting review team assessed Elachee in the areas of Teaching and Learning, Using Results for Continuous Improvement, Leadership Capacity Purpose and Direction, Governance and Leadership, and Resource Utilization. The team lauded Elachee's commitment to continuous improvement, improved student performance, and the strength of the staff, board and community stakeholder leadership. Recommendations included development of a comprehensive technology plan and expanding the executive summary describing Elachee’s history and position in the community.
