BUFORD - A verbal dispute escalated into gunfire on Dusty Ridge in South Hall Tuesday afternoon.
Details are sketchy, but Hall County Sheriff's spokeswoman Nicole Bailes says "the home owner on Dusty Ridge was in a verbal dispute with two other subjects and the dispute evolved into shots being fired."
Bailes says the home owner shot out the tires on a vehicle belonging to one of the others involved in the argument.
