ATLANTA - Forecasters say sub-freezing temperatures are headed for most of north and central Georgia.
National Weather Service officials say a cold air mass moving into the state is expected to send temperatures into the low 20s and 30s Sunday night into Monday morning.
Forecasters say the cold air could kill sensitive plants that are left unprotected, and could be harmful to pets if they're left outdoors.
Temperatures are expected to rise to the low and mid 50s in most areas Monday.
