DAHLONEGA — University of North Georgia head baseball coach Tom Cantrell announced his 2016 signing class on Thursday. The seven incoming freshmen have all signed letters of intent to join the Nighthawks next fall since the early signing period opened on Nov. 11.
"We have addressed our immediate needs with this fall signing class from top to bottom," Cantrell stated. "Five of the seven players have attended our UNG Baseball Prospect Camps at some point during their high school career. Our coaching staff found a very talented group of players, but at UNG, we also look for extraordinary social and academic skills, which I feel these seven young men have."
