BUFORD - Liberty Property Trust has purchased 38 acres near the Hall-Gwinnett county line where it plans to develop a new business park called Liberty Business Center at Buford.

“We look forward to expanding our presence in the Atlanta market,” said Steve Rowley, vice president of leasing for Liberty’s Atlanta region.  “Tenant demand remains high across the region and Liberty Business Center at Buford will give us a platform from which to develop high-quality industrial buildings, in an exceptional location near the I-85/I-985 split.”

Liberty has begun plans for two multi-tenant buildings totaling 354,828 square feet and located at 3525 Gravel Spring Road.

The company already owns 16 buildings in the Atlanta area ranging in size from 29,915 to 278,348 square fee.
