BLAIRSVILLE — Union County maintained its spotless record in a 49-28 win over Greene County on Friday in Blairsville.
The Panthers (7-0, 3-0 Region 8-AA) pulled away with 14 unanswered points in the second quarter for a 28-7 halftime lead.
Union County running back Bo Lynch rolled up 193 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while quarterback Joseph Mancuso rushed for 110 yds and four scores. Mancuso also completed 11 of 13 passes for 131 yards and one touchdown.
The win sets up a top 10 and Region 8-AA showdown with Rabun County next week in Tiger.
