Girls basketball: N. Forsyth rolls past Chattahoochee

COAL MOUNTAIN -- The North Forsyth girls bounced back from their first region loss of the season with a 53-36 victory over Chattahoochee Friday night in Region 6-AAAAAA action at home.<br />

The Lady Raiders (15-2, 9-1 Region 6-AAAAAA) trailed 8-6 late in the first quarter but closed out the period with a 10-2 run to take a lead they would never relinquish. They blew the game open outscoring the Lady Cougars (10-4, 5-4) 12-3 in the second quarter for a 28-15 lead.<br />

Caroline Bowns paced North Forsyth with 21 points to go with three rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Lochlain Corliss added 16 points, three steals, and three assists for the Lady Raiders.
