Baseball: Hewett, Smith, Lewallen lead North Hall past Fannin Co.

BLUE RIDGE -- Lincoln Hewett and Andrew Smith combined for nine hits to lead North Hall to a 13-9 win over Fannin County Friday night.

Hewitt went 5-for-5 while Smith was 4-for-5 at the plate. Corbin Lewallen had a two-run home run for the Trojans (14-6, 12-3 Region 7-AAA) who sit in second place in the region two games behind Buford.

Brandon Delong got the win for North Hall allowing six runs on seven hits in six innings of work.

The Trojans will play host to West Hall on Monday. The Spartans are in third place two games behind North Hall.
