CUMMING - A portion of Parks Road from Georgia 306 to Burruss Mill Road <br />
will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning Monday, March 10, and is not likely to reopen until April 20. <br />

The closure will allow for the construction of a box culvert at Six Mile Creek. <br />
<br />
The work is part of a traffic safety improvement project funded by the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax program, SPLOST VI, according to Forsyth County officials.
