BLAIRSVILLE -- The Union County girls basketball team knocked off Lakeview Academy 61-41 on Tuesday in Blairsville.<br />

The Lady Panthers led 35-19 at halftime.<br />

Brooke Maddox scored a game-high 20 points for Union County (3-2), while Kaitlyn Dade put up 13 points.<br />
<br />
Hannah Grogan scored 14 points to pace the Lady Lions (3-2), while Schyler Miller added 13.<br />
<br />
Lakeview will look to bounce back on Friday against Providence Christian in Gainesville.<br />
<br />
Union County travels to face Dawson County on Friday.
