ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta police say a 1-year-old child has died after being shot with a BB gun.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that officers were called to an apartment complex on Hank Aaron Drive in southeast Atlanta shortly after 9:15 a.m., where they found the injured child. The boy was later pronounced dead.
WSB-TV reports that the boy was shot in the chest.
Other Atlanta media are reporting that the child's father has been taken into custody.
