GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville girls softball team got its first win of the season Wednesday knocking off Druid Hills 4-1 at Lanier Pointe.
Kara England got the win for the Lady Elephants (1-3) allowing just one hit.
England, Kayla Montague, Angel Goss and Tyra Newton each had one hit for Gainesville.
The Lady Elephants will be back in action Thursday traveling to Berkmar.
