GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Medical Center's (NGMC) Diabetes Education program has again been awarded Recognition from the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
The Diabetes Education program was originally awarded the ADA's Education Recognition Certificate in 2000 and has continued to receive Recognition renewal for offering high-quality education services to its patients.
The ADA recognizes educational programs that meet the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs. These standards, which were developed and tested by the National Diabetes Advisory Board, are designed to promote quality education nationwide for diabetes patients.
