The Diabetes Education program was originally awarded the ADA's Education Recognition Certificate in 2000 and has continued to receive Recognition renewal for offering high-quality education services to its patients.
The ADA recognizes educational programs that meet the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs. These standards, which were developed and tested by the National Diabetes Advisory Board, are designed to promote quality education nationwide for diabetes patients.
