HOMER -- Banks County swept Rabun County Friday in Region 8A-AA baseball action.
The Leopards took a 1-0 win in a pitcher's duel in Game 1 and then rallied for an 11-10 win in a slugfest in Game 2.
in Game 1, Taylor Foster scattered two hits and fanned 10 in a complete-game effort.
In Game 2, Foster's pinch-hit, two-RBI double with the bases loaded and one out cut the Rabun lead to 10-9 and then Billy Hudgens hit a two-out, two-RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Leopards (8-5, 7-2 subregion) the come-from-behind victory.
Brenton Ruark had four hits, including two doubles and a triple, scored two runs, and had two RBI for Banks County. Hudgens finished with two hits, scored twice, and knocked in two runs for the Leopards.
