Soccer: Lady Lions shut out Pickens for first win

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy girls soccer team got its first win of the saeason with an 8-0 victory over Pickens County Wednesday night.

Carly Kenny and Amy Groth each had four goals and one assist to lead the Lady Lions. Keeper Marcelle Zavala recorded her first shutout of the year with eight saves in goal.
