GAINESVILLE -- The Chestatee boys basketball team won its second straight game with a soliud 75-59 win over White County Friday night.
The War Eagles (2-17, 2-3 in Region 8A-AAA) led just 19-18 after the first quarter but used a 22-10 second quarter to take control of the game. They put the game away in the fourth quarter with a 17-9 run.
Chestatee was paced by Justin Jones with 13 points. Lucas Bennett added 14 points and six rebounds, Keelan Passmore had 12 points and eight assists, and Cole Morgan had 12 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks for the War Eagles.
White County (6-12, 1-4) was led by Rand Rowland 15 points. Eddie Hurst had 14 points and Spencer Adams 12 points for the Warriors.
