BLUE RIDGE -- The East Hall boys basketball team, playing its first game since winning a tournament in Alaska, routed Fannin County 70-34 Tuesday night in Region 8A-AA action.
It was the Vikings seventh straight win since falling to Gainesville in the Lanierland finals.
East Hall (11-4, 3-0 in subregion) opened with a 23-10 first quarter and then held the Rebels to just 24 points the rest of the way.
JC Hampton paced East Hall with 20 points. Caleb Holtzclaw added 12 points as 14 different players scored for the Vikings.
