GAINESVILLE - Two metro Atlanta men have been arrested and about 60 pounds of marijuana seized by Hall County sheriff's investigators.
The bust was made Monday in the 1600 block of Atlanta Highway in Gainesville.
Sheriff's office spokesman Stephen Wilbanks said that during the investigation " a set of digital scales were located and seized."
Sgt. Wilbanks added "the street value of the marijuana is estimated at approximately $72,000."
34 year-old Semajal Jackson of Atlanta and 24-year-old Michael Thomas of Decatur were arrested without incident, according to Wilbanks, and booked into the Hall County Detention Center, where they were charged with Trafficking Marijuana.
Jackson is also being held on an outstanding bench warrant issued out of DeKalb County.
