UNDATED - A group concerned with the well-being of Lake Lanier is turning up the heat on Georgia, Florida and Alabama as the tri-state water war drags on.
Wilton Rooks, who is on the ACF Stakeholders executive committee, confirmed Friday morning the group will soon begin a joint effort with some of the universities in the three states.
It also plans to hire consultants to aid in the effort.
The goal is to determine how to best manage the water in Lake Lanier and elsewhere in the Appalachicola/Chattahoochee/Flint river basin.
