GAINESVILLE -- Johnson split a pair of Area 8-AAA matches Tuesday in girls voilleyball action.
The Lady Knights opened with a loss in three games to Monroe Area. They took the opening game 25-13 but then lost the final two games, 25-19 and 25-23 tot eh Lady Hurricanes.
Johnson rebounded in the second match with a come-from-behind win over Chestatee in three games. Chestatee won the first game 25-21 but Johnson rallied to win the final two games 25-19 and 25-20 to win the match.
Kelly Chance paced Johnson with four aces, seven kills, and eight assists. Sophie Love had four aces and 17 assists, Christina Petit added seven kills and five digs and Kelsey Panter had three digs for the Lady Knights.
