Middle school chain memorializes 9/11 victims

FLOWERY BRANCH - Sixth-grade social studies classes at C.W. Davis Middle School near Flowery Branch recently collaborated on a project to mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

A red-white-and-blue chain was created, bearing of the names of the victims of the terrorist attacks. The chain stretches down both 6th grade halls, "and serves as a powerful reminder of the lives that were lost on 9/11," principal Eddie Millwood said.
