OAKWOOD -- The East Hall girls volleyball continued its solid start to the season with wins over Johnson and Jackson County on Tuesday night in Oakwood.
The Lady Vikings (8-4) defeated Johnson 25-17,25-17 and Jackson County 26-28, 25-23, 25-18 but fell to West Hall 25-22, 25-21 in their final match.
Brittney Cambell paced East Hall with 22 oints. scored on serve to go with one ace, six kills, 27 assists and eight digs. Kara Hix won 25 points on serve along with four aces, seven kills, eight digs, and one assist.
Emily Hoggard had 13 kills, nine digs, and four blocks; Tarryn Long 20 kills, three assists, and four digs; and Latisha Shelton had two kills and two digs
The Lady Vikings next will play host to a quad match against Jackson County, Lumpkin County, and Gainesville on Thursday.
