Softball: Lady Wolves too much for Dacula

HOSCHTON -- The Buford softball team overpowered Dacula 5-1 on Wednesday in the Hawk/Bulldog Invitational Tournament in Hoschton.

Tessa Daniels (1-0) pitched a complete game for the Lady Wolves (1-2), going six innings (the contest was called due to time limit) and allowing four hits while striking out four.

Senior Lexi Overstreet helped pace Buford at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, while Daniels also finished with a double and an RBI. Kallie Case added two stolen bases and scored a run, and Kodi Ricketson scored and drove n a run.

The Lady Wolves will take on Mountain View at 4 p.m. Friday in the Hawk/Bulldog Invitational Tournament.
