Ranalli is named fire chief in Demorest

DEMOREST - A veteran fire fighter and instructor, Ken Ranalli, is the new fire chief of the Demorest Fire Department.

Having twenty-six years of emergency services work, Ranalli has been a part of the Demorest Fire Department as a firefighter, captain and assistant chief since 2007. He is also an instructor at North Georgia Technical College in its EMT, paramedic and fire science programs.

"Ken brings a confirmed degree of professionalism to the department," said City Manager Juanita Crumley, "and his leadership will be a great value to city residences and businesses."
