Buffalo Sweeps Sunday Doubleheader From Gwinnett

BUFFALO -- The Buffalo Bisons sweep a Sunday afternoon doubleheader from the Gwinnett Braves by scores of 5-3 and 2-1 at Coca-Cola Field, In Buffalo, NY.
The Braves (25-24) finish the eight game road trip at 3-and-5 and lose their third in a row.

In Game 1, Bisons first baseman Valentino Pascucci hit a grand slam home run off Braves starting pitcher Todd Redmond in the bottom of the fifth. The Braves were leading 3-1 at the time.

In Game 2, Bisons third baseman Michael Fisher and leftfielder Lucas Duda hit solo homers off Braves starter Steven Shell in the bottom of the fourth. The Braves were leading 1-0 at the time.

Gwinnett returns home to Coolray Field Monday night to begin an eight game homestand. First in, the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. First pitch set for 7:05 p.m. Braves RHP Julio Teheran (4-0, 1.65) will face RHP Eddie Bonine (3-4, 5.44). The game can be heard on the home of the G-Braves, WDUN 550 AM/102.9 FM.
